FFL Transfer Information
BW & BW Sales complies with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the sale and transfer of firearms. All firearm purchases must be shipped to a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer of your choice.
How the FFL Transfer Process Works
- Place your order on our website.
- Choose your preferred FFL dealer.
- If you already have one, include their name and address in the order notes.
- If you don’t have one, we can help you locate a nearby dealer.
- We will contact you after checkout to confirm your FFL information.
- Your firearm ships directly to the FFL dealer, not to your home.
- You complete the background check and pick up your firearm from the dealer once approved.
Finding an FFL Dealer
If you need help selecting an FFL, we can recommend one in your area or you can search the ATF’s public FFL database.
Important Notes
- Firearms cannot be shipped to your home address.
- The receiving FFL may charge a transfer fee.
- You must present valid government-issued ID at pickup.
- All federal and state background check requirements apply.
- Orders cannot be shipped until FFL information is confirmed.
